Project Details

STATUS Design Proposal A development of close to 1300 residential units in Kongowea Mombasa County. The development is designed to create a symbiotic relationship with the nearby Kongowea Market and surrounding residential and commercial areas with pedestrian traffic from the neighbourhood being allowed to pass through the development. 7-meter-wide pedestrian thoroughfares flanked by commercial units link the site to the surrounding neighbourhood.

Affordability efficiency and use of technology are major factors. The Village is designed to encourage non-motorized transport with parking areas being confined to the outer edges of the development. PLANNING has executed the master plan and part of the Concept Design Stage.
