Kingongo Nyeri Commercial Development, Design Concept 2022

STATUS Design Concept Design concept for a mixed-use commercial development in Kingongo in the outskirts of Nyeri. The development consists of a mix or retail and leisure in a setting aimed to create a destination attracting a wide range of customers and visitors. The strategic location of the site offering good access from major roads and generous views to Nyeri town to the south and Mount Kenya to the north-east offers opportunities for a wide range of retailers and business.

The masterplan provides a spatial layout aimed at optimizing the visitor's experience whilst locating business in a rational manner around a central pedestrian plaza from which businesses are directly accessed. The central space is designed as a multi-use space to be flexible to accommodate a wide range of uses and events.
